Joe Philipson is a rising 3L in the David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law & Policy at UCLA School of Law. Joe is currently a summer clerk with Weinberg, Roger & Rosenfeld. He spent his 1L summer with the Employment Rights Project at Bet Tzedek Legal Services in Los Angeles. He has been a member of the Voting Rights and Community Economic Development Clinics and is Chief Note Editor of the Disability Law Journal.

Before graduate school, he held various positions in philanthropy, social impact, and communications in the entertainment industry, federal government, and nonprofit sector. Originally from Chicago, Joe received his BA in Religion from Tufts University in 2015. He is fluent in Spanish.
