Taliah Mirmalek (pronounced TaL-ee-yih Meer-ma-lek) is a rising 2L at University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she is active in the Muslim Students Association, Native American Law Student Association, and Law Students for Justice in Palestine. Prior to law school, she worked as a researcher in the labor movement and served as an educator in her local community. In law school, she has participated in the La Alianza Workers and Tenants Rights Clinic with Centro Legal de la Raza, co-founded the Law Students for Radical Real Estate pro bono project with the Sustainable Economy Law Center, and interned with the Center for Constitutional Rights. She enjoys forest walks and teas of all varieties.
