Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) Founding Partner Teresa Stricker presented at the League of California Cities’ East Bay Division’s Ballot Measure Academy on Thursday, June 27, in Piedmont, California.
The Academy provided city leaders with an educational workshop about the legal, structural and practical issues of carrying out a ballot measure campaign. The program walked community leaders through key elements of a successful local ballot measure campaign tailored to the specific needs of a community.
Teresa partnered with Dave Metz of FM3 Research, as well as Amanda Clifford and Bonnie Moss of Clifford Moss, to deliver a three-part presentation on ballot measures. While Mr. Metz discussed polling and the Clifford Moss duo covered communications, Teresa spoke on “Ballot Measure Legal Dos and Don’ts”, leading a discussion on laws regulating the permissible use of public resources in connection with ballot measures.
