ABOUT ANUJAN JEEVAPRAKASH
Anujan Jeevaprakash is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Prior to joining RPLG, Mr. Jeevaprakash was an Associate at Gordon & Rees’ San Francisco office, where he represented clients in all phases of complex civil litigation. Mr. Jeevaprakash has experience drafting dispositive briefs, leading discovery and taking depositions in a wide range of civil matters.
In addition to his previous litigation experience at Gordon & Rees, Mr. Jeevaprakash draws on his experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye of the California Supreme Court where he worked on various civil and criminal cases heard by the Court.
During law school, Mr. Jeevaprakash served as a student attorney for the UC Davis Civil Rights Clinic, where he represented a Pro Bono client in a prison medical negligence case that involved an in-depth look at the Interstate Corrections Compact. Mr. Jeevaprakash represented his client in all phases of the appellate briefing and argued the merits of the case in front of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Jeevaprakash also served as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Santa Clara District Attorney’s Office, where he was exposed to complex criminal cases and successfully conducted jury trials and preliminary hearings.
