ABOUT JAMIE PEREYDA
Jamie Pereyda recently joined Renne Public Law Group, and brings civil litigation and environmental compliance experience to the firm. Ms. Pereyda’s practice focuses on representation of public agencies in general government, land use and litigation matters.
Before Ms. Pereyda joined Renne Public Law Group, she was an associate at Hunton Andrews Kurth, LLP in San Francisco and Hopkins & Carley, P.C. in San Jose.
Ms. Pereyda previously represented clients across a wide range of complex environmental issues, including environmental compliance counseling and regulatory enforcement defense and litigation, with a focus on client obligations arising under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and the Clean Air Act (CAA). She previously represented a former semiconductor manufacturer at a National Priorities List Superfund Site in northern California. In addition, Ms. Pereyda represented various clients, ranging from small businesses to international retail companies, in the defense of Proposition 65 citizen suit matters.
Ms. Pereyda has successfully represented clients in a wide range of commercial contract and real estate disputes in federal and state courts in California.
Ms. Pereyda previously served as a legal intern in the Litigation Section at Santa Clara County Counsel and as a judicial extern to the Honorable Beth Labson Freeman of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. During law school, Ms. Pereyda provided advice and counseling to low-income residents in employment and consumer protection related matters through the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center at Santa Clara University School of Law. As an attorney, Ms. Pereyda has volunteered pro bono legal services to the Legal Aid of Marin County.
