Public Law Fellowship - Summer 2021

Second Annual Public Law Fellowship

Renne Public Law Group is pleased to offer a condensed fellowship program designed to introduce law students to local government advocacy.

The Fellowship Program will be held remotely for a two-week period: June 7-18, 2021. Fellows will receive a $2,000 stipend at the conclusion of the program. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2021 by 5:00 p.m. PST. The Program is designed to be a “crash course” – immersing students in the field of local government law and initiatives.

Fellows will gain valuable knowledge in a wide range of law and legal issues unique to local government, including the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, CEQA, the Meyers Milias-Brown Act, charter law principles and more. The program will include talks with local officials and legal experts, legal research assignments, and discussions about future challenges facing local governments.

We are excited about this program and hope to attract qualified applicants. Explore our website to learn more about what we do.
