Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) Partners Art Hartinger and Jenica Maldonado have been selected by the Daily Journal as 2022 Top Labor and Employment Lawyers in California, in recognition of their deep experience representing public and private clients in complex litigation and advice matters pertaining to labor and employment issues.
With a practice focused on labor and employment law for over 33 years, Art is one of California’s leading labor and employment attorneys. He was previously a partner at Meyers Nave, where he chaired the Labor and Employment Group for 16 years, a partner at Liebert Cassidy, and a Deputy City Attorney in the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office for nine years. Art has been recognized every year since 2004 as a “Northern California Super Lawyer,” and also by the Daily Journal as a Top Labor and Employment Attorney, a “Top 20 Municipal Lawyer” and a “Top 100 Lawyer” in California.
Before joining RPLG, Jenica served as a Deputy City Attorney in the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office for almost seven years. During her tenure, she worked on the Ethics and Elections Team and the Labor Team. Prior to advising the City, Jenica was a labor and employment associate at Perkins Coie LLP and Hanson Bridgett LLP. Jenica’s passion for public sector work started early, following internships for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, Mayor’s Office in San Francisco, and work for Senator Dianne Feinstein in Washington, D.C.
