Anujan Jeevaprakesh recently joined RPLG as an associate, bringing a multi-faceted legal background, exemplary oral advocacy skills and a commitment to public service to the firm’s growing team.
“Anujan’s impressive experience working in the public sector during law school aligns with our mission and shows an early commitment to our work,” said Founding Partner Jon Holtzman. “We are delighted that he is joining our litigation practice group.”
Anujan graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics/International Affairs and Economics in 2016. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis – School of Law. During law school, he clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of California in Sacramento and in the Santa Clara County’s District Attorney Office. He also externed for the California Supreme Court’s Honorable Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye. Upon graduation, Anujan was awarded membership in the Order of Barristers, a national honor society, to recognize his exemplary oral advocacy skills.
After one year of gaining corporate litigation experience at Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP, Mr. Jeevaprakesh decided to pursue his interest in the public sector with RPLG.
“I first discovered my deep passion for helping my community when becoming active in my parents’ service projects in Irvine that assisted various disadvantaged groups,” said Anujan. “I am excited to pursue my passion for helping others at RPLG. It is an incredible opportunity to learn from the best public interest lawyers in the field, who are in a position to effect much-needed social change.”
