Progressing into city management, she served as assistant city manager in Milpitas, overseeing complex projects such as constructing a new city hall and handling negotiations of solid waste rate structures. Most recently, June served as the city manager for the City of Pleasant Hill for an impressive 17-year tenure. Her leadership was instrumental in numerous accomplishments, including the successful design and construction of a new library, the development of a comprehensive general plan and housing element and the implementation of an efficient online permitting system.
