Renne Public Law Group (RPLG), a Gold-Level Partner of the League of California Cities, has committed to attend the League of California Cities 2019 Annual Conference & Expo. Taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center from October 16-18, the event serves as an occasion for city staff, elected officials, and other local government enthusiasts and experts to celebrate the accomplishments of California cities and educate one another with lessons learned and best practices.
Four members of the RPLG team will speak on panels this year. Teresa Stricker will share her thoughts on the use of social media by governments from a legal perspective in “The Sixth Council Member: Social Media.” Jon Holtzman and Linda Ross will address pension issues in “Vested Right to Pensions – Has Anything Changed?” And Arthur Hartinger will share his experiences and insight in “CalPERS’ Employee Grab: The View from the Trenches.”

“We’re looking forward to having so many team members sharing their knowledge on panels this year,” said Partner Jon Holtzman. “It adds another level of value to the conference, which is already such a wonderful opportunity to connect with and learn from our friends and colleagues in local government. We always come away from the conference with new perspectives and strengthened relationships.”
When not in their sessions, the RPLG team will be stationed at Booth 835 near the Expo Hall entrance.
RPLG practices throughout California, advising and advocating for public agencies, nonprofit entities, individuals and private entities in need of effective, responsive and creative legal solutions.
