Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) Partner Andrew Shen and Associate Mauricio Grande will present “Understanding Public Service Ethics Laws and Principles (AB 1234)” at the League of California Cities (Cal Cities) 2025 NorCal Mayors and Council Members Academy on Friday, January 24, in Sacramento.

“Ethics laws help ensure integrity and transparency in local government,” said Andrew. “The training will teach officials how to comply with the key components of AB 1234.”

The academy is designed to equip newly elected and appointed City officials with practical, legal and financial knowledge. Andrew and Mauricio’s session will explore essential ethical standards, equipping both new and seasoned officials to navigate the complex and evolving landscape of local governance. Given the ever-changing landscape of local governance, this training provides value to both new and experienced officials who seek to stay informed on critical legislative updates.
