ABOUT
Mauricio Grande is an attorney in the firm’s litigation practice group. Before joining Renne Public Law Group, Mauricio served as a judicial law clerk in the San Francisco Superior Court. During his first year with Judge Garrett L. Wong, Mauricio advised on a wide spectrum of complex litigation and trial matters that included a city’s environmental contamination case involving over 35 affected sites. During his second year, initially with Judge Cynthia M. Lee (ret.) and subsequently with Judge Samuel K. Feng, Mauricio’s duties encompassed legal research, analysis and guidance regarding law and motion matters in asbestos cases, and writ petitions in CEQA proceedings involving public agencies.
In law school, Mauricio participated in moot court. He won the Best Brief award in his first-year moot court class and placed among the top four briefs at the 2020 Hispanic National Bar Association Moot Court Competition. He also served as a civil procedure and property law tutor for the Legal Education Opportunity Program, and continues to give back as a UC Law San Francisco adjunct professor and bar success specialist.
