Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) is excited to welcome Lisa Sharkey as an associate. With over a decade of criminal prosecution experience, including an exceptional track record of 35 jury trials with 31 convictions, Lisa brings a wealth of experience to the firm.

Lisa has built a reputation for her work in prosecuting domestic violence cases, where she has been instrumental in guiding survivors through the complexities of the justice system. She began her career at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, contributing to high-profile affirmative litigation projects that addressed critical community issues, including cannabis enforcement, human trafficking and the regulation of youth-targeted tobacco products.
Throughout her career, Lisa has served in several prominent prosecutorial roles across California, including with the Inglewood City Attorney’s Office, San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, Marin District Attorney’s Office and Napa District Attorney’s Office. Her broad experience spans all phases of litigation, from preliminary hearings to post-conviction matters, enabling her to navigate complex legal challenges with skill and dedication.

Lisa earned her J.D. from Whittier Law School, where she was honored with a CALI Award for Constitutional Law. She holds a B.A. from the University of California, San Diego.
