Lisa Sharkey is a seasoned trial attorney with over 10 years of experience in criminal prosecution across multiple jurisdictions. Throughout her career, she has successfully tried 35 jury trials to verdict, securing 31 convictions. Lisa has handled thousands of cases, playing an instrumental role in every phase of litigation, from pretrial motions and hearings to witness interviews, coordinating law enforcement investigations and handling post-conviction and appellate matters.

Specializing in the prosecution of domestic violence crimes, Lisa is dedicated to assisting survivors in navigating the complexities of the justice system. Her deep commitment to advocating for vulnerable individuals has shaped her approach to every case, ensuring that justice is pursued with diligence and compassion.

Lisa began her legal career at the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, where she worked on impactful affirmative litigation projects addressing community issues, including cannabis enforcement, human trafficking and tobacco regulations aimed at preventing youth-targeted marketing. She also contributed to affirmative litigation initiatives addressing neighborhood violence, particularly those related to gun and drug sales.

A skilled prosecutor, Lisa’s experience spans multiple offices, including the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office, the Inglewood City Attorney’s Office, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office, the Marin District Attorney’s Office and the Napa District Attorney’s Office.
