Jake Freitas

ABOUT
Jake Freitas is an attorney in the firm’s Litigation and Government practice groups. He represents clients in a variety of matters before state and federal courts, as well as administrative tribunals. Jake also has experience handling appeals and petitions for writs of mandate before the California Court of Appeal. His work spans diverse areas, including the Fair Employment and Housing Act, workplace violence restraining orders, zoning and land use, and constitutional and statutory interpretation.
Jake graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). While at law school, he served as the Managing Editor of the Hastings Journal of Crime and Punishment and chair of the Community Advocacy Committee. He interned at the Northern District of California and with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, where he worked with the Government Team advising City departments and local officials.
