Jim Ross to Attend County Counsels’ 2024 Civil Law and Litigation ConferenceRenne Public Law Group (RPLG) Of Counsel Jim Ross is attending the 2024 County Counsels’ Association of California’s Civil Law and Litigation Conference, April 11 – 12 in Monterey. At the conference, public attorneys who provide legal advice and representation to California’s 58 counties and other units of local government will discuss recent developments in civil law and litigation and share best practices and strategies to improve service to their communities.

For almost 30 years, Jim has served as a county counsel, assistant county counsel and deputy county counsel. He served as county counsel for Shasta County and worked in Ventura County and Sonoma County before joining RPLG. He was most recently appointed as Interim Mendocino County Counsel. His extensive experience paired with the collaborative thought leadership between colleagues at the conference will be a fruitful supplement to his present and future work supporting counties.
