The Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) has partnered with the California Special Districts Association (CSDA) as a Gold Level Business Affiliate for the 2018-19 year. This move follows hard on the heels of the firm’s sponsorship of the League of California Cities, as RPLG ramps up its support of local government throughout the state.
“Special districts deliver critical services to communities across California,” said RPLG Partner Arthur Hartinger. “By working with CSDA, RPLG can keep up-to-date on topics relevant to California residents and our clients and we can share our knowledge with the districts. Special districts face unique challenges that our firm is well-positioned to help them with on the legal front.”
“Our mission is to be the voice for all special districts and provide our members with the resources necessary to best serve their communities,” said Neil McCormick, Chief Executive Officer of CSDA. “We value our newfound affiliation with RPLG and look forward to growing this relationship.”
As a Gold Level Affiliate, RPLG will have the opportunity to delve into relevant issues via educational articles and informative conference sessions, and work with special districts to find creative solutions.
In Fall 2018, RPLG will deliver key insights into the Brown Act during the CSDA Annual Conference. The event will take place September 24 to 27 in Palm Springs, California.
RPLG practices throughout California, advising and advocating for public agencies, nonprofit entities, individuals and private entities in need of effective, responsive and creative legal solutions. The firm’s clients include Moraga-Orinda Fire District, Kensington Police Protection & Community Services District, Marin Municipal Water District, MTC, BART, SCVTA and others.
