CCMF

The California City Management Foundation (CCMF) is the premier advocacy and support organization for California city managers. In order to further support local government leaders throughout the state, the Renne Public Law Group has partnered with CCMF as a Corporate Benefactor for the 2018-19 fiscal year.

“Thank you to Renne Public Law Group for supporting CCMF as a Corporate Benefactor sponsor,” stated CCMF President Wade McKinney. “Their support makes it possible for us to expand our member offerings and better serve the city managers of California. It is always a benefit to have private partners whose focus clearly meshes with our own.”

After launching in March 2018, RPLG moved quickly to support associations, including the League of California Cities and the California Special Districts Association, that are committed to assisting local governments and other public agencies. The firm is primed to achieve greater levels of support as the fiscal year continues.

“City managers have the primary responsibility of implementing delivery of services to the public,” said RPLG Partner Jon Holtzman. “RPLG is deeply committed to successful city management that creates better communities for Californians. CCMF is the backbone of the California city management community. Our team has a long history of success working with CCMF, and we are excited to continue this partnership into the future.”

RPLG practices throughout California, advising and advocating for public agencies, nonprofit entities, individuals and private entities in need of effective, responsive and creative legal solutions.

CCMF was formed in 1985 with the three-fold mission to strengthen the City Manager profession, improve City Management education and promote the Council-Manager form of local government. For more than 30 years, the Foundation has offered guidance, support and advice for City Managers in all stages of their careers.
