Art and Anastasia presenting

Founding Partner Art Hartinger and Associate Anastasia Bondarchuk presented an update on the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) on Thursday, October 22 at the Public Employer Labor Relations Association of California (PELRAC) 11th Annual Training Conference, which was held virtually.

“This year has presented many challenges for public employers and many interesting court decisions as a result,” said Art. “I’m glad that Anastasia and I had the opportunity to share our knowledge on PERB and its most recent significant court cases with our colleagues.”

Art and Anastasia presented an update on recent changes related to PERB, including the Board’s current members and new electronic filing system. Their presentation covered a range of topics, from general PERB background to recent related legislation to PERB. Art and Anastasia also discussed the statistical breakdown of PERB decisions by type and statute, examined specific PERB decisions in-depth and analyzed the implications these decisions have for future holdings.
