Cruse, Jr., Senior Associate Anastasia Bondarchuk, Associates Taylor Cole, Taylor “Tae” Evans and Maribel Lopez and Marketing Coordinator Bobby Groth will attend the California Lawyers Association (CLA) Inaugural Public Law Conference March 19–21 in San Diego. The conference brings together attorneys, public officials and policymakers from across the state providing timely education and practical insights into the evolving landscape of public law and governance.
RPLG attorneys will contribute to several panel presentations during the conference. On March 19, Amy will present “Digital Accessibility Requirements for Public Agencies,” covering website and digital accessibility fundamentals, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines standards, document compliance and social media considerations. She will also participate in “SB 707 Implementation Issues,” addressing requirements related to remote public participation in agency meetings and offering guidance for counsel advising public agencies.
Later that afternoon, Amy and Rubin will engage in “Dos and Don’ts of Quasi-Judicial Proceedings,” discussing common procedural challenges and best practices for public law practitioners.
On March 21, Jon, Jim and Maribel will speak on “Suing the Federal Government to Preserve Services for California.” This presentation will offer perspective on federal litigation matters affecting public agencies and share insight drawn from their experience representing clients in complex disputes.
