League of California Cities
Institute for Local Government

As a dedicated participant within the local government sector, the Renne Public Law Group (RPLG) has committed to supporting the League of California Cities and the Institute for Local Government (ILG) as a Platinum Level Partner for 2019.

This new level of sponsorship marks a deepening commitment to supporting cities and other public agencies throughout the state.

“The League and ILG are the cornerstones of support for California local government,” stated Jon Holtzman, RPLG Founding Partner. “As a firm that is devoted not just to representing individual public sector clients, but to advancing the interests of local government generally, we  believe partnering with both associations is one of the best ways we can assist public agencies, aside from direct engagement.”

The League is the leading advocate for the common interests of California cities. Similarly, ILG promotes good government at the local level with practical, impartial and easy-to-use resources for California communities. The two associations aim to support local leaders and foster local control.

“RPLG was founded on the idea that representing government is in the public’s interest,” continued Mr. Holtzman. “The League and ILG share the same values. We look forward to continuing our partnership into 2020 and beyond.”

RPLG practices throughout California, advising and advocating for public agencies, nonprofit entities, individuals and private entities in need of effective, responsive and creative legal solutions.

Established in 1898, the League of California Cities is a nonprofit statewide association that advocates for cities with the state and federal governments and provides education and training services to elected and appointed city officials.
